Peak Perfomance Europe is committed to your safety. Not only can you be sure that you will receive safe mental coaching from us (the “services”), but also that we will handle your personal data with care. We are talking about confidential information that you left with us when you registered with us for coaching or during a visit to our website. You can read all about the personal data we process and have stored about you, how we do this and why, in this privacy statement.

Fortunately, there are more and more laws and regulations that ensure that our privacy is well protected in the digital age, such as the General Data Protection Ordinance (AVG). These are rules that we naturally adhere to because we don’t want your data to be misused or left on the street. We do everything we can to protect your (digital) personal data. 

Peak Perfomance Europa (“we”) considers the careful processing of personal data to be of the utmost importance. Personal data are carefully processed and secured. When processing, we comply with the requirements of the General Data Protection Ordinance (the “AVG”). This Privacy Statement sets out how we collect and use your data in accordance with the AVG.

Use of personal data

If you use websites and related services offered by Response instituut, you can share personal data with us. We collect and use personal information that you, or your company, share directly with us. We will not use the personal data for purposes other than those described in this statement, unless you have given your prior consent.

Types of data collected

When you use our Services, we may collect the following information:

  • Personal identification information: name, surname;
  • Contact Information: address, e-mail, telephone number;
  • Other information that you voluntarily decide to share with us: social media accounts, login ID, IP address, feedback and opinions.

Grounds for processing

We generally process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Sign in and verify/authenticate users of the Services;
  • Communication between Response Institute and website visitors;
  • Issuing and sending invoices
  • Spam prevention;
  • Sending newsletters by e-mail;

We will retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes of this Privacy Statement. In general, we keep personal data of our website visitors for 12 months.

You have the right to access the information we process. If you wish, you can contact us directly. We ensure that we provide you with a copy of the data we process about you. We may need to verify your identity to comply with your request. If you believe that the information we process about you is inaccurate, please contact us to update your information. You also have the right to object to the data processing. If you would like us to delete your information, you can inform us at any time. You can contact us regarding these requests at any time. We will always respond in a timely manner, in accordance with the AVG. If you are not satisfied with the answer you receive, you can submit your complaint to the relevant regulator.

Sharing with others

We will not share your information with others without your permission, unless this is necessary to carry out the agreement you, or your organisation, have with us, or unless this is a legal obligation.

Transfer of personal data

In order to achieve the purposes described in this Privacy Statement, we may transfer your data outside the EEA. If this is the case, we will take appropriate measures to ensure that personal data is properly secured. For transfers to the United States, we will ensure that such a U.S. party complies with the Privacy Shield. For other transfers, we may transfer your information to a country recognised by the European Commission that provides an adequate level of protection with respect to Personal Data.

Analytics

Data provided by you may be retained for the purpose of statistical analysis, including via Google Analytics. These statistics are used to optimize the Services. This enables us to see how our visitors use the website and, on that basis, to improve the website. Where possible, we will pseudonymize this information.

Security

We ensure that your personal data is protected against loss or unlawful processing. Among other things, we have taken the following technical and organisational measures:

  • Logical access control, use of passwords and possibly a second factor;
  • Encryption of data;
  • The use of Virtual Private Servers (VPN) accessible with the SSH key;
  • Transfers only over SSL;
  • Purpose-bound access restrictions;
  • Verification of recognized authorizations.

Third Party Websites and Services

Our Services include activities related to the provision of software that allows our customers to build their own professional websites. Our customers determine what kind of data they collect on or through their website. We process such data only on behalf of our customers. If you have any questions about information that our customers collect on or through their website, please contact the organization that set up the website. Our customers determine what other services or plug-ins they use. This Privacy Statement does not apply to such other services or plug-ins, nor to third party websites that are visited via links. We cannot guarantee that these third parties will handle your personal data safely and reliably. We recommend that you read the privacy statements of these parties.
